The factory rims really do fit over the wilwoods!!! I wasn’t sure at first the clearance is slim but it’s enough.
Quick tire swap and oil change before work today, finally have the snow tires on!
Now I just hope it keeps snowing.

Just in time too. Not sure exactly where up by the lake you live, but CalTrans is preparing for snow on I-80 Sunday through Thursday.

I’m up in Incline, we got about 6" at our house they were predicting 12-18"....so it was kinda dud, but looks like more is on the way.

Oh, that’s right, on the NV side.
I’m thinking of heading up to Northstar next week. They got 7-11" of fresh snow on the mountain from the recent snowfall. Their website says that less than half of the trails are open. But there’s enough groomed blue runs to get enjoyment out of it.
I usually go to Sierra-at-Tahoe, but even with yesterday’s new snow, not much is open and groomed.

You should check out mnt rose they have the most and the best snow. If you decide to go there let me know, maybe we can meet up.

I’ve actually never been up to the Mt. Rose resort. I know that they have one of the highest elevation snow facilities, which would definitely bode well. I’ll certainly let you know if I make it up there. I’ll bring beer.
